Bridgeport Islanders Sign Randl

The Bridgeport Islanders, American Hockey League affiliate of the New York Islanders, have signed forward Jack Randl for the 2024-25 season. He will join Bridgeport on an amateur tryout agreement (ATO) for the remainder of 2023-24.

 

Randl, 23, played four seasons of college hockey at the University of Nebraska-Omaha, where he recorded 26 points (13 goals, 13 assists) in 39 games this season. He led the Mavericks with a career-high 18 goals and 34 points in 2022-23, while serving as an alternate captain.

 

A native of Carpentersville, Ill., Randl totaled 94 points (45 goals, 49 assists) in 160 career games with Nebraska-Omaha. He also collected one assist in 22 games with the University of Michigan during the 2018-19 season.

 

Randl had 100 points (41 goals, 59 assists) in 158 games with the Omaha Lancers of the United States Hockey League (USHL) beginning in 2016-17. He served as Lancers’ captain in 2019-20.
