Islanders Gain Point In 4-3 Shootout Loss to Bruins

Bridgeport, CT – Returning home to Total Mortgage Arena after their five-game winning streak was snapped last night in Hartford, the Bridgeport Islanders and Providence Bruins duked it out in a back-and-forth contest, which needed a shootout to determine who escaped with two points, but the Bruins ultimately escaped with a 4-3 victory. Full Story…

Islanders Win Streak Snapped in Road Loss to Wolf Pack

Hartford, CT— The Bridgeport Islanders carried a five-game winning streak into Hartford where they battled their in-state and division rival, the Wolf Pack, on Friday night. Despite scoring first in the contest, the team couldn't hold the advantage and dropped the game to Hartford 3-2. Full Story…

Roster Notes

  • Adam Beckman’s on Saturday goal was his fifth in his last three home games and his 90th in the AHL. 

  • Liam Foudy’s multi-goal night on Saturday extended his point streak to seven games (7-2–9), which marks his new career long. The Islanders are 5-2-0-0 during his streak and 8-3-0-0 overall when he scores. 

  • Daylan Kuefler’s assist on Saturday night extended his point streak at Total Mortgage Arena to six games (3-4–7). The Islanders are 4-2-0-0 over that span. 

  • CJ Smith’s now has assists a three-game point streak at Total Mortgage Arena (0-5–5). 

  • Luke Rowe’s reached a new career high for assists on Saturday night with his eighth of the season

  • In this last five games, Marcus Hogberg has a save percentage of .935 stopping all 145 out of 155 shots. While Henrik Tikkanen has stopped 128 out 136 shots giving him a save percentage of .941 over the last five games. 

  • Eetu Liukas is out indefinitely with an upper-body injury.
