Austin Czarnik scored twice and Paul Thompson’s first goal with the Bridgeport Islanders held up as the game-winner in a 4-1 victory against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms at PPL Center on Saturday.

Collin Adams and Erik Brown (pictured) each scored a milestone goal on Friday night, helping the Bridgeport Islanders stay close in a 3-2 loss to the Providence Bruins at Webster Bank Arena.

Cory Schneider made 44 saves on Wednesday, matching his career high in the American Hockey League, but the Springfield Thunderbirds scored four times in the second period and the Bridgeport Islanders dropped a 4-1 decision at MassMutual Center.

The Bridgeport Islanders (5-9-1-2) finished up a five-game road trip and returned to Webster Bank Arena last week in a trio of games against the top two teams in the Atlantic Division.
