Introducing Isles Summer Reading for 2023

The Bridgeport Islanders are pleased to announce the launch their 2023 Isles Summer Reading Program, aimed at encouraging students to grow their reading skills in and out of the classroom during the summer months.

 

Any student who reads four (4) or more books this summer will receive a free ticket to a Bridgeport Islanders home game during the 2023-24 regular season. The offer is valid for all students who begin the 2023-24 academic school year in grades K-8.

 

How It Works

 

Reading reports must be submitted by a parent or guardian between Friday, Jun 16th and Sunday, Aug. 27th. Complete your reading report beginning Jun. 16th by visting the Isles Summer Reading webpage, which can also be used to track how many books are read. Your student is eligible to receive a free Bridgeport Islanders ticket once at least four (4) books are logged, which includes any book completed during a “Read with Storm!” event.

Join Storm in person to read along with his favorite books. Storm will be at several local libraries to read with students this summer. Dates and locations will be announced soon. One of the books Storm will be reading is an Isles-themed children’s book, “New York Islanders A to Z”.

 

Free ticket offers will be emailed on Tuesday, Sept. 5th.
