Tikkanen Shuts Out Wolf Pack, 4-0
Hartford, CT--- The Bridgeport Islanders battled a division rival on New Year’s Eve on the road with the desire to skate into the 2026 with two more points in the standings. The last time these two teams battled was in Bridgeport with the Islanders dropping the contest. In Wednesday night’s game, the Islanders struck for two quick goals in the third period and road an excellent goaltending performance by Henrik Tikkanen to a victory by a 4-0 score. Full Story…

Islanders Drop Road Contest to Thunderbirds, 4-2
Springfield, MA— Heading into the New Year, the Bridgeport Islanders tried to win consecutive games against a divisional opponent when they stepped onto the ice against the Springfield Thunderbirds at the Mass Mutual Center on Friday night. In the opening game of 2026, the Islanders went into the third period down by a goal but could muster a comeback and lost the road contest to Springfield 4-2. Full Story…

Islanders Fall to Hartford, 4-1
Bridgeport, CT - The Bridgeport Islanders squared off against the Hartford Wolfpack in their first home game of 2026, looking to gain two points in front of a packed crowd, but fell 4-1 to their division rival.Full Story…

- Forwards Joey Larson (12G, 9A) and Alex Jefferies (7G, 14A) are tied for the team lead in points with 21.
- Before Henrik Tikkanen’s shutout on New Years Eve in Hartford, his last AHL shutout was on January 12, 2025 against Lehigh Valley
- Forward CJ Smith played his 300th AHL game on Saturday against Hartford.
- Daylan Kuefler and Luke Rowe currently lead the team in +/- with a +8
- This coming weekend will mark the first three game in three days segment of the schedule for the Islanders. The first game on the road against Providence on Friday night followed by home games against Utica and Hartford.
