Beckman the Overtime Hero in Victory Against Checkers
Bridgeport, Conn. – Squaring off against the Charlotte Checkers for the first time this season, the Bridgeport Islanders took on their Atlantic Division rivals with reinforcements as Matt Luff joined the club for his first game. With Adam Beckman playing heroics in overtime, the Islanders defeated the Florida Panthers' top affiliate, 4-3, in a weeknight matchup. Full Story…

Islanders Gain Point in Shootout Loss to Bruins
Providence, RI – In a set of back-to-back games in Providence, the Bridgeport Islanders set their eyes on finally defeating the Eastern Conference top ranked Bruins. With the game tied heading into the overtime period, neither team scored but in the shootout the Bruins registered the only goal, and the Isles got a single point in the 3-2 defeat. Full Story…

Islanders Drop Road Game to Bruins, 3-2
Providence, RI. — The concluding set of back-to-back road games for Bridgeport took place on Sunday afternoon inside Amica Mutual Pavilion against the Providence Bruins. The Isles looked for redemption from the shootout loss suffered the previous night. But, the Bruins proved once again to be a difficult opponent and the Isles skated away in the defeat without adding points in the standings. Full Story…

- Newly acquired forward Matt Luff registered a point (1G, 2A) in the first three games as a member of Bridgeport
- Adam Beckman leads the team in goals scored with 22. He is currently on a three-game point streak (3G, 1A)
- Matthew Highmore has assists in three straight games heading into the weekend (1G, 3A)
- Goaltender Marcus Hogberg has helped the team to at least a point in the standings in six straight starts with three wins, one loss in overtime and two losses in a shootout.
- Eetu Liukas remains out indefinitely from an upper body injury
- Chris Terry is out day to day with a lower body injury
- Pierrick Dube is day to day with an upper body injury
- Joey Larson is day to day with a lower body injury

Isles in the Community
Luke Rowe, Matt Maggio, and Joey Larson joined Storm for our second Isles in Aisles reading session on Tuesday, February 24th. The three Isles players along with our mascot read children’s books to all those in attendance at the Westport, Connecticut Library. This is a continued effort by the Isles to interact and have a great reading session to children in our community.
