Sound Tigers Unveil "Unique" Introduction

The Bridgeport Islanders have unveiled their latest introduction video that will energize fans prior to each home game and welcome players onto the ice in 2020-21.

 

“Although it’s a bit unique, we’re excited to introduce this entertaining video, which is inspired by the popular Netflix documentary, Tiger King,” President of Business Operations Brent Rossi said. “We’re the only American Hockey League team with ‘tigers’ in our name, so why not? It’s a great fit.”

 

The intro will debut on Webster Bank Arena’s state-of-the-art video board on Opening Night this October.

 

“We’ve been listening to our fans and their requests to see more popular culture incorporated into Sound Tigers’ home games,” Vice President of Marketing Tim Farrell said. “This is a great way to do that and also shake things up next season.”

 

“Joe Exotic is all about being outspoken, looking good and having fun, and that’s exactly what we’re going for,” Farrell added.
