Sound Up: Ep. 6 - Cole Bardreau, Tim Farrell

Sound Up: Ep. 6 - Cole Bardreau, Tim Farrell

May 14, 2020

The all-new weekly podcast hosted by Sound Tigers play-by-play broadcaster Alan Fuehring, "Sound Up" takes an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look inside the minds of a current player and front office member for the New York Islanders' American Hockey League affiliate.

Each podcast drops on Thursday nights on the team's official Facebook, Twitter and SoundCloud accounts. Episode 6 features a conversation with forward Cole Bardreau and Sound Tigers Vice President of Marketing Tim Farrell as they both patiently quarantine at home during the coronavirus pandemic.

Bardreau is a fifth-year pro who just completed his first season with the Sound Tigers, after the AHL officially cancelled the remainder of the 2019-20 season and 2020 Calder Cup Playoffs on Monday due to the ongoing health crisis. He made his NHL debut with the New York Islanders on Oct. 19 at Colubmus and scored his first NHL goal, on a penalty shot, on Nov. 5 against Ottawa.

Farrell, 30, was named the team's VP of Marketing in late February after previously serving in a similar role with Webster Bank Arena. He is a New England native who has also worked with the PGA Tour, Kansas City Chiefs, and ran his own marketing company for several years prior to arriving in Bridgeport.
