Islanders Victorious Against Wolf Pack, Win 4-2

Bridgeport, Conn. – Taking the ice with a seven-game winning streak inside Total Mortgage Arena and sole possession of fourth place in the Atlantic Division standings for the first time this season, the Bridgeport Islanders held off a late push from the Hartford Wolf Pack and skated into the Easter weekend with a 4-2 win. Full Story…

Isles Continue to Dominate at Home, Defeat Bears 4-1

Bridgeport, Conn.. – As the Bridgeport Islanders took the ice for their final School Day game of the season, the energy inside Total Mortgage Arena was noticeable not only because of the packed crowd, but also because of the importance of the contest as they faced the Hershey Bears with fourth place in the Atlantic Division on the line. Roster Notes:

  • Adam Beckman continues a stellar season reaching a career high in goals (27) and points (46). He has registered five goals and two assists in his last six games played. 
  • Liam Foudy has three goals and five assists in his previous seven games and registered two assists during Friday’s game at home vs. Hartford. 
  • Victor Eklund now has six assists in his last three games including two primary assists against Hartford on Friday night. 
  • Matthew Highmore is three games away from 300 in the AHL. 
  • Daylan Kuelfer scored in back-to-back games (vs Hershey and Hartford) for the first time in his career. 
  • Ethan Bear has a three-game assist streak heading into Thursday’s game against the WBS Penguins.

  • Eetu Liukas remains out indefinitely with an upper body injury.
